Schedule released for 2010 Tankard
(Napanee, Ontario, September 18, 2009) The Ontario Curling Association has released the schedule for the 2010 Ontario Men’s Curling Championship (The Tankard), to be held at the Strathcona Paper Centre in Napanee from February 1 to 7, 2010.
Eleven teams from across the province will compete to represent Ontario at the 2010 Brier in Halifax. For the first time ever, the defending champion receives an automatic berth into the event. Team Glenn Howard from the Coldwater & District Curling Club who won the 2009 Tankard has been invited to Napanee.
The preliminary round is from Monday, February 1st to Friday the 5th. Tie-breakers and page games are on Saturday, the 6th. The Semi-final and Final take place on Sunday, February 7th. Please visit www.2010Tankard.com/EventSchedule for more schedule information.

The Ontario Men’s Curling Championship is considered the premiere curling event in the province. Past winners of the Ontario Championship include Glen Howard, Wayne Middaugh and Mike Harris.
